Complex Care is getting ready to brighten up the week in support of the Child Brain Injury Trust's GloWeek campaign, raising awareness of children's road safety as the darker autumn and winter months approach.
As the days grow shorter and evenings become darker, visibility on our roads becomes increasingly important, particularly for children and young people.
GloWeek is a nationwide awareness initiative organised by the Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT), encouraging children, families, schools and communities to wear bright or reflective clothing and think about how they can stay visible and safe.
At Agile Complex Care, we're pleased to be supporting this important campaign and helping spread its message.
Bringing Some Colour to GloWeekThroughout GloWeek, our team will be getting involved by wearing bright colours, sharing photographs and helping raise awareness of the importance of being seen during the darker months.
Stacey and Paula from Agile Complex Care will also be bringing a little extra fun to the campaign, with their dogs joining in the celebrations dressed as colourful Glow Monsters!
Inspired by the Child Brain Injury Trust's Glow Monsters story, these friendly characters help children learn about road safety, visibility and looking out for one another.
We'll be sharing our colourful moments on LinkedIn throughout the week and encouraging others to get involved.
Supporting Children and Families
The Child Brain Injury Trust provides specialist support, information and guidance to children, young people and families affected by acquired brain injury.
Its GloWeek campaign combines an important safety message with fun, accessible activities that help families start conversations about staying safe near roads.
This is a cause that resonates with Agile Complex Care's commitment to supporting children, individuals and families through compassionate, person-centred care.
We understand the importance of safety, awareness and providing the right support to help individuals live fulfilling lives.
By taking part in GloWeek, we hope to help amplify the charity's message and encourage more families to think about visibility and road safety as winter approaches.
Let's Make GloWeek Shine!
Whether it's wearing a brightly coloured outfit, adding reflective accessories or creating your own Glow Monster, there are plenty of ways to take part.Keep an eye on our LinkedIn page throughout GloWeek to see how our team and their four-legged friends get involved.
